Day 1: ARRIVAL - SAIGON (-/-/-)

Fly to HCM city. Upon arrival to the airport, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: SAIGON - CAI BE - VINH LONG (Caibe Princess) – SAIGON (B/L/-)

Morning we drive from Sai Gon to Cai Be.

Upon arrive, visit Cao Dai Temple in Cai Be before embarking for the boat trip to colorful Cai Be floating Market, then visit  some local home factories to discover traditional rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies, and longans drying process. After enjoying beautiful lunch at a superb Indochina villa, Le Longanier, located in a luxuriant garden by the river, your sampan will cruise to Dong Hoa Hiep. On the way, you will be able observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River still remain unknown to many people. Visit at an ancient mandarin house dating from the 19th century where the family will welcome you with a cup a tea. Then we will proceed to Vinh Long, passing beautiful landscapes along Dong Phu canal, Binh Hoa Phuoc and An Binh islands famous for their fruit orchards. Stops on the way can be made at Tam Ho bonsais garden. You will have a chance to taste the typical tropical fruit there and enjoy the authentic tradition music show performed by local farmer there.  On the way back to Vinh Long, visit the local brick and pottery factory – where you can experience the way of local people firing brick in special brick kiln by rice husk from Mekong Delta.

Back to the bus to drive back to Saigon.

Morning visit Reunification Palace - the former Presidential Palace of Southern Vietnamese Government before 1975. Then visit Notre Dame Cathedral, and Central Post Office. Visit Historical Museum before taking an orientation walk along Dong Khoi and Nguyen Hue streets where you can get the great view of famous city hall in Saigon.

Afternoon, we take a tour to China town, the special identity of Saigon. Visit Thien Hau Pagoda, where hundreds of local people come and burn the incense for their luck, prosperity and happiness. After that, take a walk around Cho Lon, the biggest whole sale market in town. It is great combination of busy and bustle atmosphere of the market and traditional Chinese Architecture there.

Morning depart for Tay Ninh, the head quarter of Cao Dai religion. On arrival we will have time to visit the impressive Holy Temple of Caodaism, the famous local religion that is the symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism before attending the fantastic mid-day mass. After having lunch in local restaurant, drive to Cu Chi, the famous network of tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The Cu Chi Tunnels consist of more than 250km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels, the tunnels are between 0.5 to 1m wide, just enough for a person to crawl along. Transfer back to Saigon and take an evening flight to Danang.

Upon arrival, transfer you to Hoian, the little attractive town very famous as living museum which was originally one of major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century

Overnight in Hoi An/ Vinh Hung 2 Hotel


Morning take a walking tour to Hoi An ancient town. Visit Thang Loi Handicraft workshop in Phan Chu Trinh Street. You will have the chance to experience all the typical traditional handicraft of Hoi An, such as wood carving, mat weaving, lantern making, silk worm raising, spinning and weaving, table cloth making and embroidery picture. Then take a walk to Hoi An ancient town.

We will start the walk from small alley from Phan Chu Trinh Street to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street. This is the typical ancient street of Hoi An, that can show you great atmosphere of the ancient town. Visit the Japanese Cover Bridge – the symbol of Hoi An. After that visit Tan Ky, the most well known and authentic ancient house in town.

Then take a walk along the Nguyen Thai Hoc - the ancient street of Hoi An to the market of the town. Visit the local market and Phuc Kien Congressional Assembly Hall, the communal place for Chinese community from Fukien province in China as well the worshiping temple to Thien Hau, the Goddess protecting people on the sea – that was so important for the Chinese Merchant and Fishman in the past. Then you have free time for discovering the town on your own or shopping.

Afternoon depart for the cyclo trip to Cam Nam Village. The cyclo will take you from the town to Cam Nam Bridge. You will have the first stop for the photo opportunity of the activities and scenery on the Thu Bon River. Then the cyclo will take you along the Thu Bon River bank, where you can have another photo stop for panorama view of Hoi An from other side of river. You will ride along the riverside and cycle through local villages of Cam Nam. This is untouched area by tourism with very friendly and hospitable local people. You can see their daily life activities or even viewing the interior of their house and their life through always opened doors. The cyclo trip will be ended at green small canal covered by water coconut trees. Embark on the boat and take a cruise to Thu Bon River. You can experience the local daily life along river, such as fishing, farming, catching clam …. Come back to Hoi An around sunset time.

Day 6: HOIAN – MY SON - DANANG – HUE   (B/L/-)

Early morning we will drive to My Son, the Holly land of Champa kingdom date back from 4th to 13th century. Arrive to My Son before it getting crowded by the other tourists, you will have great chance to discover and feel the great ancient atmosphere of the complex of nearly 70 difference towers there, where you can find the best brick sculpture in the world and learn about the influences of Hinduism to their culture. My Son also had been recognized to be culture world Heritage in 2000. Then we depart to Danang through famous Hai Van Pass, stop to visit Cham Museum with great collection of sand stone artifact from 4th to 13th century. After lunch, we drive to Hue. Upon arrival, check in hotel and relax.

Morning we drive to visit Thien Mu pagoda, the symbol of Hue city then take a walk around Kim Long Village where you can visit the original ancient house of the former mandarin, mingle with local people and experience their daily activities in the village. Then visit Tu Duc Tomb, discover beautiful and impressive architecture of this unique construction in Hue as well as the story of the King there. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon take a cyclo trip from your hotel over famous Trang Tien bridge and Dong Ba market. The cyclo will take you around the ancient citadel of Hue, getting over the streets, local shops for the over view of daily life and architecture of this famous citadel. Stop at Noon gate of Imperial Citadel for the walking tour to the inner area of the citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City.

Day 8: HUE Q HANOI (B/L/-)

Morning is free until transfer you to local restaurant for lunch or take a lunch box then to Phu Bai airport for flight to Hanoi.

Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, meet our driver to transfer to hotel for check in and relax.

Day 9: Full day joining Hanoi city tour (B/L/-)

08.00 AM The guide and driver pick you up from your hotel, we take you to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house - where Ho lived on and off from 1958 to 1969, then visit Ho Chi Minh’s museum where tourists will learn what he had done for Viet Nam and some other countries and a lot of information about President Ho Chi Minh. The next place is One Pillar Pagoda which is a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature - the first college  of Viet Nam dedicated to Confucian. Have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, we will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda which is on the shore of West Lake. Then visit the museum of ethnology. The last place of city tour is Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake), Ngoc Son Temple. End at your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 10: Hanoi – joining Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

At around 8:00am, pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way.

At around 12:15 embark on V’Spirit Classic Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing. We will have a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic cruises among the limestone islands. Then Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area will be reserved.

Continue our visit by cruising to Soi Sim Island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay. And return to the boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set.

At 19:00 Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around.

Day 11: Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

You have full day to do kayaking and relaxing to discover Ha Long Bay’s beauty.

Visit Pearl Farm today. Enjoy cooking demonstration class with typical Vietnamese dishes.

Day 12: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – night train to Sapa (B/L/-)

The tour will be finished in Ha Long Bay at around 12:00.

Transfer to Hanoi, arrive The Jasmine at around 16:40.

We will try our best to arrange one room for you for shower before getting on overnight train to Sapa. Overnight on a deluxe soft-sleeper cabin with A/C train (sharing with 2 others)

Day 13: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B/L/D)

6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. A 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Get back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike.

Day 14: Sapa – Bac Ha – overnight train to Hanoi (B/L/D)

Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).

In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to catch night train back Hanoi.

Day 15: Hanoi – departure (B/-/-)

You will arrive at Hanoi Train Station in very early morning. We will arrange someone go there to pick you up to hotel. Check in and relax. Have breakfast and free time until 09:30 am. Our driver will take you to the airport to catch your flight to Luang Prabang. Ends tour.
