Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (-/-/-)
Upon arrival, meet our driver and transfer to hotel for check in and relax.

Day 2: Full day Hanoi city tour (B/L/-)
08:00AM: Our guide & driver will pick you up at front desk of Jasmine. Then visit Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and One Pillar Pagoda - founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam). Continue visiting the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070, its gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnams past. Have Lunch at a local restaurant.
01:30 – 2:00PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, the biggest museum in Hanoi where display many objects relate to 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Come back to see Hoan Kiem Lake with the peaceful waters and visit Ngoc Son temple. Then enjoy water puppets show before ending.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc - Hanoi (B/L/-)
At 8:00am, pick up at the hotel and drive to Ninh Binh where you you will visit Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. Come and enjoy the architecture of Dinh and Le temples – two Kings of two royal dynasties.
Then drive to Tam Coc Wharf around lunch time. Enjoy Vietnamese Lunch at a local restaurant. And this is a good chance to enjoy the specialty of Ninh Binh delicious goat meat and elderberry.

This trip also gives you a good chance to boarding sampan boat rowed by local people to visit wonderful scenery of karst hills, villages and rice fields. Passing though three caves: Hang ca, Hang hai, Hang ba.

Cycling along the country’s rivers and paddy fields is also one of the interesting activities in this area.
At 16:00 Getting on shuttle bus to go back to Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)
At around 8:00am, pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way.
At around 12:15 embark on V’Spirit Classic Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing. We will have a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic cruises among the limestone islands. Then Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area will be reserved.

Continue our visit by cruising to Soi Sim Island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach this island or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay. Then return to the boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set.
At 19:00 Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around.
Overnight on V'spirit Cruise

Day 5: Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay (B/L/D)
Wake up early to start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt, at around 6:15am. Then have breakfast on board.
Around 8:00 transfer to a Day Boat for a cruise to Lan Ha Bay. Explore the Light and Dark Cave by kayak. Swimming and relaxing at the beaches
After that, return to the day boat. Enjoy a barbecue lunch on board. We do kayaking more to explore Lan Ha Bay or just leisure at the beaches.
Afternoon, visit a floating Pearl Farm and learn the technique for making high quality pearls.
If the weather permits, we continue along to Three Peach Beach for swimming.
At around 16:00 cruise back to the main boat for rest and enjoy the nice view of the bay. Enjoy dinner and overnight on board

Day 6: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B/L/-)
Early morning, join Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt, and have breakfast at sunrise.
Today, we explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay until 9:30. Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
Between 10:00 – 11:30am, while heading back to the harbor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

Disembark V’Spirit Classic Cruise. At 12:00 we transfer back to Hanoi city.

Day 7: Hanoi – free day – night train to Sapa (B/-/-)
You have full day free at your leisure. You can go to visit Hanoi sites your self or go shopping.
Take an electric car to have one hour seeing Hanoi Old Quarter is also a nice option for you today. Or rent a car to visit traditional handicraft villages is another wonderful experience.

Tonight take a train to Sapa. Leave hotel at around 19:30 to catch the train.

Day 8: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai (B/L/D)
The train arrive Lao Cai station at around 5:00am. You will be picked up and transferred to hotel for freshen up and breakfast before doing trekking tour.

We will be walking down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village where the Black H’mong reside. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the remnants of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time. Enjoy picnic lunch by the riverside, and after lunch continue on for 3 km to Sin Chai, which is located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, also known as “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here we take in the beautiful picturesque view before returning to Sapa by jeep or van.

Day 9: Sapa – Muong Khuong – Sapa (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to Muong Khuong. The road was recently upgraded to ensure smooth drive and enjoy beautiful scenery of the lush mountainous region along the way with some stops for nature wanders and photos. Arriving to the market place you will spend the whole morning joining the local tribal peoples of different groups coming from remote villages to attend the market for their most important week end activities. Shopping? Of course. You can see a variety of things for sales from farming products, medicinal herbs, spices to Chinese made electronic appliances... but is not as important as meeting, contacting, socializing and enjoying food! It is easy to realize the H'mong and Zao through their colorful dresses and head gears who are the massive at the market. The Ha Nhi, Tu Zi, Tu Lao peoples in smaller numbers and wear unique traditional costumes which are not so colorful but beautiful. You will sit down for a simple Lunch while the market is getting over. The trip back to Lao Cai is more interesting for having lot chances for personal contacts with locals on the way back to their villages. Then the road goes uphill to Sapa offers spectacular view of mountain and valleys to make the drive shorter. Arriving in Sapa in middle afternoon, check in hotel and enjoying leisure walk around this charming town.

Day 10: Sapa – Lai Chau via Tram Ton Pass (B/L/D)
After having breakfast, depart to Lai Chau. The drive from Sapa to Phong Tho (Paso) is one of the most beautiful mountainous stretches on road in the whole Vietnam with magnificent scenery. From Sapa town, you will drive uphill to the highest pass “Heaven’s Gate” – Tram Ton Pass which is 2000 meters in height. From here you have bird-eyes view of enormous picturesque Muong Hoa valley and Fansipan Mount. Running 30kms further to the other side of the pass, you will arrive in Tam Duong where you have time to visit a small market and some surrounding villages. The run will take you along Binh Lu valley and you will arrive in Lai Chau Town at lunch time.
In the afternoon, the road weaves its way through picturesque valley, passes many villages of Red and White H’Mong, Kho Mu and White Thai ethnic minorities. You eventually reach Phong Tho Town in the late afternoon where you stay tonight at Lan Anh hotel. O/N in Lai Chau

Day 11: Lai Chau – Phong Tho – Sin Ho – Muong Lay – Dien Bien Phu (B/L/D)
Today’s run is also on spectacular roads through mountains. After a short drive backward Lai Chau, you make a right turn to a small zigzag road which runs precipitously up to Sin Ho. Sin Ho is home to many different minorities people such as Nung, White Thai, Black Dao and Dao Tien who will gather in the town’s market every Sunday for purchasing and socializing. The run downhill from Sin Ho to Muong Lay is one of the nicest ones, even thoughts some parts of the road might be under-construction. From Muong Lay, it takes about 2 hours to Dien Bien on a much easier road, in compared with the precious ones. If you arrive Dien Bien Phu early enough, you will visit the historical sites as De Catries’s Bunker, Dien Bien Phu Museum, the A1 hill and so on.

Day 12: Dien Bien Phu – Tuan Giao – Dien Bien Phu (B/L/D)
You will depart Dien Bien Phu for Tuan Giao, where you will get on boat for a cruise on Pa Khoang Lake. There will be possibilities for visiting one ore more villages of the Kho Mu or Thai minorities. You will then have a transfer back to Dien Bien Phu for lunch. Free until departure.
