Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Joining Cooking class tour (-/-/D)

Our driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer to The Jasmine Hotel for check in and relax.

Afternoon: 14h take a taxi to Hanoi Cooking Centre for cooking class tour.

Meet your chef at HCC and receive a brief introduction to Vietnamese cooking and the day’s dishes. Guided tour of Chau Long wet market. Prepare at least four dishes at your own work station in a purpose built, fully air-conditioned kitchen under the expert guidance of our chefs.

Then enjoy your own cooked meal in our dinning room with complementary free flow local wine, beer or soft drinks.

Class length: approximately 4 hours, includes all dishes, listed beverages, detailed recipe cards and a souvenir from Hanoi Cooking Center.

Day 2: Full day joining Hanoi city tour (B/L/-)

08.00 AM The guide and driver pick you up from your hotel, we take you to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house - where Ho lived on and off from 1958 to 1969, then visit Ho Chi Minh’s museum where tourists will learn what he had done for Viet Nam and some other countries and a lot of information about President Ho Chi Minh. The next place is One Pillar Pagoda which is a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature - the first college  of Viet Nam dedicated to Confucian. Have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, we will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda which is on the shore of West Lake. Then visit the museum of ethnology. The last place of city tour is Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake), Ngoc Son Temple. End at your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 3: Hanoi – night train to Sapa (B/-/-)

You have full day free at your leisure. You can take an orientation walk to the Old quarter or French quarter. Or take an hour trip on electric car to see local daily life in Hanoi Old Quarter is also very nice option.

At 20:00 transfer to Hanoi Train Station for night train to Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B/L/D)

6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. A 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Get back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike.

 Day 5: Sapa - Bac Ha Market (B/L/D).

Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).

In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to continue up to Sapa.

Day 6: Cat Cat & Sin Chai – night train to Hanoi (B/L/-)

A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a jeep to return to Sapa.

At 18:00, you will be transfered by a tourist shared bus to Laocai train station, then take the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 7: Arrival Hanoi – free day (B/-/-).

You will be arrived Hanoi in very early morning, around 4:30am. Our staff at The Jasmine hotel will come to Hanoi train station to pick you up to hotel. If there is any room available, we are happy to offer you for early check in without extra charge. Otherwise you should wait until 8:00am, someone do check out for Ha Long Bay so you can have the room at 9:00am. Free breakfast would be offered to you on this day.

Day 8: Ha noi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B/L/-)

At 8:00am, pick up from hotel and start our drive to Ninh Binh Province. It takes 2 hours to reach Hoa Lu Ancient Capital.

We will visit King Dinh and King Le’s temples. And then drive to Tam Coc Wharf around lunch time. At around 12:00, we have a buffet lunch with Vietnamese Cuisine. You have a chance to enjoy the specialty of Ninh Binh delicious goat meal and elderberry.

At around 13:00 get on Sampan boats rowed by local people. As you gently make your way along Ngo Dogn River, you can take in the wonderful scenery of kart hills, villages and rice fields. Pass through the three caves "Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang Ba". It takes total nearly 2 hours then back to Tam Coc Wharf to chill out.

We continue biking to Bich Dong on Countryside and paddy fields (optional)

At 16:00 Getting on shuttle bus to go back to Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

At around 8:00am, pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way.

Around 12:00 to 12:30, get on the board and start cruising. Vietnamese Lunch is served while the cruise slowly slides.

Afternoon visit Sung Sot Cave, the longest and finest cave in Ha Long Bay. DO kayaking, swimming and photo shootings at surrounding area.

A cooking demonstration class with our chef will be prepared before enjoying a typical traditional Vietnamese dinner. And then continue with nice activities like Cuttle fish fishing, games on board, socializing with others. Our bartender serves you the best drink at bar.

Day 10: Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

Full day discover Ha Long Bay’s beauty. Enjoy Barbecue Lunch on boat. Visit Pearl Farm then enjoy cooking class.

Welcome a new day and enjoy breakfast. Relaxing on cruise until check out time.

The tour will be finished in Ha Long Bay at around 12:00.

Day 12: Hanoi – flight to Hue (B/-/-)

Free until transfer to the airport for flight to Hue. Upon arrival at the airport in Hue, meet the driver and transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 13: Full day Hue city tour (B/-/-)

Morning take a cyclo trip from your hotel over famous Trang Tien bridge and Dong Ba market. The cyclo will take you around the ancient citadel of Hue, getting over the streets, local shops for the over view of daily life and architecture of this famous citadel. Stop at Noon gate of Imperial Citadel for the walking tour to the inner area of the citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City.

Lunch by your own arrangement.

Afternoon visit Thien Mu pagoda, the symbol of Hue city then take a walk around Kim Long Village. It will be great chance to learn about lifestyle of local people there. Then visit Tu Duc Tomb, discover beautiful and impressive architecture of this unique construction in Hue as well as the story of the King there.

Day 14: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/-/-)

Morning drive to visit Khai Dinh tomb that is home to an imperial audience court, featuring a reinforced concrete stele monument, as well as twelve stone statues representing bodyguards. Travel south to Danang City via the scenic fishing village of Lang Co. Having Lunch at a local restaurant on your own.

Afternoon visit the Cham Museum, then visit Marble Mountain. Driving to Hoi An , check in hotel and relax.

Day 15: Hoi An full day tour (B/-/-)

Morning visit Tra Que herb village - a small village located 3km north of Hoi An’s Old Town. Thanks to the advantage condition of rich soil and water, the village has long been known for growing various kinds of vegetables: lettuce, salad, flagrant knoutwed, houttuynia, basil and coriander vegetables etc. Tra Que herbs and veggies are widely recognized for their quality, safety and especially outstanding taste and flavor.

Then coming back to take a walking tour in Hoi An ancient town: visit the typical ancient street of Hoi An, the Japanese Cover Bridge – the symbol of Hoi An, visit Tan Ky - the most well known and authentic ancient house in town, visit the local market and Phuc Kien Congressional Assembly Hall.

Have Lunch at a local restaurant on your own.

Afternoon depart for the cyclo trip to Cam Nam. Take the photos of the activities and scenery on the Thu Bon River. Then the cyclo will take you along the Thu Bon River bank, where you can have another photos for panorama view of Hoi An from other side of river. Riding along the riverside and cycle through local villages - this is untouched area by tourism with very friendly and hospitable local people. The cyclo trip will be ended at green small canal covered by water coconut trees. Embark on the boat and take a cruise to Thu Bon River. You can experience the local daily life along river, such as fishing, farming, catching clam …. Come back to Hoi An.

Day 16: Hoi An - My Son Holy Land (B/-/-)

Morning depart to My Son Holy Land - a unique beautiful sanctuary world of the ancient Chăm religion. Honorably recognized as a World Heritage in 1999, My Son Holy Land is captivating in various cultural values. Therefore, it is extremely useful and meaningful for those interested in Southeast Ahsian culture, which owes its core to ancient Cham culture, to drop off the land. Although time and the wars have destroyed some towers, the remaining sculptural and architectural remnants still reflect the style and history of the art of the Cham people. Their masterpieces mark a glorious time for the architecture and culture of the Chăm, as well as of Southeast Asia.

Then coming back to Hoi An for lunch on your own.

Afternoon is free time for shopping.

Day 17: Hoi An - cooking tour (B/L/-)

Morning take a visit to the local market. It makes a pleasant change from wandering the historic streets of Hoi An. Lots of fresh fish, meat and vegetables to stimulate the appetite. Then come to Morning Glory restaurant for cooking class. This would be a great experience and highly recommended. It is fun, entertaining, and educational.

Teaching chef explains one by one, how each of the vegetables and herbs are used to create everyday Vietnamese or ‘street food’ cuisine.  For Westerners, this is nothing less than a gourmet experience for the palate, made all the more inspirational because you are learning the art of cooking it for yourself. Have lunch here.

Day 18: Hoi An - Hanoi (B/-/-)

Free until check out time. Then take a day train to Hanoi which leaves Da Nang station at 12:05, and you will arrive in Hanoi at 4:02am.

Overnight on SE2 train (sharing soft-sleeper 4berth cabin)

Day 19: Hanoi - departure (B/-/-)

Our staff will wait to pick you up from Hanoi station and take you to The Jasmine Hotel.

If there is any room left, we are happy to offer you for free freshen up and breakfast.
